I've been going to Dr.Bjore for quite a few years and was really disappointed when I tried to make an appointment for an eye exam and she was no longer listed on that eye cares website. I always enjoyed her professionalism and felt like I was getting top notch eye care with her as my doctor. Luckily I was able to spend some time searching for her on the web and discovered she had a new business, Blue Lakes Eye Care, not far from where she used to be. As long as she is accomplishing eye care anywhere near me I have no reason to go anywhere else. I highly recommend Blue Lakes Eye Care, both for me and my family. All the employees at Blue Lakes Eye Care are professional and very pleasant to deal with. A very welcoming place for eye care!

Today I had an appointment with Dr. Bjore at Blue Lakes Eye Care and it was the by far the best experience at an eye clinic I have ever had! I am a hairstylist and for the last couple years I have been struggling with my vision during long days of doing very detailed work at close range. The last clinic I was going to was dismissive of my concerns about my vision and just told me to buy over the counter readers and try a few different strengths until I found the right one. I have bought a handful of different ones, none of which felt right. I was feeling so discouraged. But today Dr. Bjore took the time and care to listen to my concerns, and get a fine tuned accurate reading on what kind of prescription my eyes need so that I can have comfort and clarity while I work. Their clinic is so nice inside and everyone that works there was so friendly. I loved that I didn't need to have my eyes dilated because they have a machine that scanned my eyes and took highly detailed images that will remain in my file to see the differences in my eyes from year to year. I have definitely found my place and I will definitely be recommending Dr. Bjore and Blue Lakes Eye Clinic to my friends and family!

Clean, great eye clinic. The staff make you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. You can check-in on your phone ahead of time or in the clinic (skip paperwork). Eye exams are very thorough and have all the latest technology so your eyes get the best care. The optometrists care about their patients. Dr. Bjore does a fantastic job. Finally, an eye care facility who cares!! Service is top notch!! My experience was amazing from Josie at the front desk who is so friendly. Dr Hergerman performed my exam and it truly was the best exam I’ve ever had. Edgar the optician is knowledgeable and so kind and will give you honest feedback when looking for frames, but is super professional. Dr Bjore was also helping on the floor after my exam and is great at providing Dr related advice as to what lens size and shape works best for your Rx etc. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Bjore is such a great doc. She takes great care in explaining the “what” and “why” while also helping with advice about how much of an impact a change might have. She was the first to realize that one of my eyes had been over-corrected and fixing that fixed so much. I can tell just how much thought she and her team put into Blue Lakes and it is nice to have a store with a great team, great equipment, and a small town feel, right in Eagan.

Blue Lakes is truly a state-of-the-art vision testing facility, and Dr. Bjore is extremely adept at navigating the equipment. As a patient, I was unsure what my unique needs were, but she was able to provide clear advice on how to deal with it. I felt like I was partnering with her for an eye care solutions.

Dr. Bjore is awesome. I tracked her down after she left her previous employer. She truly cares and takes the time to explain the testing processes and results with you. The place also has all new state of the art equipment. I can't recommend her enough.

I was so impressed by my visit to see Dr. Bjore. She is an excellent eye Doctor. I got a very thorough eye exam. The clinic has the most up to date eye exam equipment. I even used virtual reality googles as part of my exam. Gone are the days of drops in your eyes and the endless “which is clearer, one or two”. The updated equipment can cut that task in half, time wise. Joise the receptionist is on top of everything. She’s very professional and kind. The eye technician was wonderful! He was very proficient and helped me pick out my glasses. It was just the best eye clinic I’ve been to. I highly recommend this eye clinic.

I have been a patient of Dr. Robert Hegerman for over a decade at his former practice. He has been my doctor through several complications with my eyes. When I discovered that he had started his own practice, there was no question that I was going to follow him. The place was modern with the latest technology. The staff was friendly and professional, offering water and coffee while I waited. As always, Dr. Hegerman took his time explaining things and it didn't feel rushed. I highly recommend this place.

A 1-to-5 or even 1-to-10 scale for Dr. Hegerman may not be sufficient. His level of training and service is difficult to find these days. A few years ago, while working in the yard on a Saturday, I was struck in the eye by a thorn from a thorn bush that had snapped across my upper face. It pieced my eye fairly deeply. I called Dr. Hegerman’s office a left a message about the incident and my concerns about the well being of my eye. Within a short time, I got a call back from Dr. Hegerman himself who asked me how soon I could come into his office. He met me at the office a short while later and examined and treated my eye. He let me know how important it was to seek treatment promptly for something like this. He then left me with instructions for the care of my eye. Perhaps what is more remarkable than his willingness to come in and see me over the weekend — was that he never charged our family for this service.

The whole experience was great from the attentive staff at the front to the doctor. This is a new clinic but the doctors whom I have been treated with have years of practice and experience. The space is beautiful and clean. I am glad that I am able to keep seeing the same team of doctors here.
